Q: Why does my Turbo Timer shut-off right after the key is removed instead of counting down?
A: HKS Turbo Timer Type 0 and Type 1's, require the handbrake (gray) wire to be connected (to the wire that indicates that the handbrake is in the on position) in order for the turbo timer to count down. This function prevents unnecessary movement of the vehilce while it is idling down. Should a user decide NOT to connect to the handbrake wire, the gray wire must be ground.
